The Montages

Along with writing and language expression, I also create visual video montages of my favorite figure skater Ekaterina Gordeeva matched to some of the hottest and legendary hits. Here are some of my best.

~Ekaterina Gordeeva is an iconic Russian figure skater: 2-time Olympic Gold medalist, 4-time World Champion. She began skating at the age of 4 1/2, and was later paired up with partner Sergei Grinkov. They went on to win virtually every competition they entered, became close friends, fell in love, married, and in 1992 Katia gave birth to their daughter Daria. Tragically, on November 20th, 1995, Sergei collapsed and died of a massive heart attack while practicing for an upcoming Stars on Ice tour. Ekaterina continues to skate in his memory: remarried to Olympic Gold medalist Ilia Kulik, she now resides in Newport Beach, California with Daria, Ilia, and her second daughter Elizaveta (aka Liza).
